Petite Picasso was created by entrepreneur, Donna Gryboski, while living in Lloyd Harbor, New York. Having three kids, she needed to find a way to organize and preserve all their artwork. Harboring stacks and stacks of sketches, drawings, journals, and paintings just became too much to handle.

Before she knew it, Petite Picasso was born.

After a year of managing the business herself, she found the need to hire a designer to bring the books to a new level. That is when she found Melissa.

Melissa O’Connor-Arena jumped on board in 2008 and has been working alongside Donna ever since. She carries a BFA in Graphic Design and over a decade of professional freelance experience under her belt. She has also worked with children for a number of years and taught Kindergarten art for a short period of time so she brings that experience to the table as well. Melissa currently lives in Long Island with her husband, son, and two dogs.

Over time these two determined women have proven their love for art and the talented kids who create it by masterfully crafting unique books like no other in the industry. Today Petite Picasso is based out of Rockville Centre, New York.
